About
What is Meraki?
Is it a fish? Oh. No, that’s the new diet going viral on TikTok, right?
Is it magic? (We think so!)
Meraki is a Greek term defined as putting a part of yourself, your soul, creativity, or love into your work. MBCG’s founder came across this term while dreaming up this business and was compelled to incorporate Meraki into what we do and who we are.
We believe businesses thrive under an empowered, inspired workforce, so we infuse care, creativity, and soul into our work to solve our partners’ unique challenges.
Our process begins with a conversation to determine the organization's workforce-related challenges. We then conduct research to identify underlying factors and create a solution-based client framework to position the institution for renewed success.
As partners, we strive for honesty and clarity. Our first job is to understand the partners’ vision and needs, not to present our own. We value timeliness, direct communication, creating value, and the occasional face-to-face meeting over a drink or a meal.
Our vision is to revive, reinvigorate, and revitalize the educational workforce.
Our mission is to:
Educate institutions on the signs, symptoms, and solutions for organizational burnout-based attrition.
Identify the facets that will drive employee motivation on campus.
Propose custom frameworks to resolve institutional pain points.
Empower leaders to shape systemic changes to improve work-life quality.
